Guidra Acceptable Use Policy

Our approach
Guidra is designed to help people grow with greater clarity, intention and purpose.
To protect our members, coaches, communities and platform, everyone using Guidra is expected to use our Services responsibly.
This Acceptable Use Policy explains what is and is not permitted when using Guidra.
It forms part of the Guidra Terms & Conditions.
1. Use Guidra Lawfully
You must only use Guidra for lawful purposes.
You must not use Guidra to:
- commit or facilitate criminal activity;
- breach applicable laws or regulations;
- infringe another person’s legal rights; or
- encourage others to engage in unlawful conduct.
2. Respect Other People
You must treat other users, coaches, staff and community members respectfully.
You must not:
- harass, threaten or intimidate another person;
- bully or deliberately humiliate others;
- discriminate against another person;
- encourage violence or hatred;
- impersonate another individual or organisation;
- deliberately disrupt Guidra communities or events.
Further behavioural expectations are described in the Guidra Community Standards.
3. Respect Intellectual Property
You must only upload, publish or share content that you have the legal right to use.
You must not knowingly:
- infringe copyright;
- infringe trade marks;
- plagiarise another person’s work;
- upload pirated material;
- distribute confidential information without permission.
You remain responsible for the content that you publish through Guidra.
4. Protect the Security of Guidra
You must not interfere with the operation or security of Guidra.
This includes attempting to:
- gain unauthorised access to systems or accounts;
- bypass authentication or security measures;
- interfere with other users’ accounts;
- upload malware, ransomware or harmful code;
- overload or disrupt Guidra’s infrastructure;
- probe, scan or test systems without permission.
5. Automated Access
Unless we have expressly authorised it, you must not:
- scrape Guidra;
- harvest user information;
- collect content using automated tools;
- use bots to access the Services;
- create automated accounts;
- perform automated data extraction.
Reasonable indexing by recognised search engines may be permitted where applicable.
6. AI Features
If you use Guidra’s AI features, you must not use them to:
- generate unlawful content;
- create malicious software;
- facilitate fraud;
- impersonate another person;
- harass or abuse others;
- deliberately spread misinformation;
- infringe another person’s rights.
Your use of AI features is also governed by the Guidra AI Policy.
7. Commercial Use
Unless we have expressly authorised it, you must not use Guidra primarily to:
- advertise unrelated products or services;
- send unsolicited marketing;
- recruit people into unrelated businesses;
- harvest leads;
- collect member contact details for external marketing;
- operate spam campaigns.
This does not prevent genuine participation by coaches or professionals using Guidra in accordance with our policies.
8. Protect the Privacy of Others
You must respect the privacy of other Guidra members.
Unless authorised by the original author or otherwise permitted by law, you should not:
- publish private conversations;
- share screenshots from private communities;
- distribute another member’s personal information;
- copy or redistribute community content outside the relevant Guidra community.
9. Platform Integrity
You must not attempt to manipulate Guidra’s systems.
This includes attempting to:
- manipulate rankings or recommendations;
- abuse promotional offers;
- create multiple accounts to gain unfair advantages;
- exploit software bugs;
- interfere with usage limits or subscription controls.
If you discover a security vulnerability or software issue, we encourage you to report it responsibly rather than exploiting it.
10. Enforcement
If we reasonably believe this Acceptable Use Policy has been breached, Guidra may take appropriate action.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include:
- removing content;
- issuing warnings;
- limiting access to features;
- suspending accounts;
- terminating accounts;
- removing access to communities, programmes or events; or
- taking legal action where appropriate.
The action we take will depend on the seriousness and nature of the breach.
11. Reporting Concerns
If you become aware of activity that appears to breach this policy, please report it using the reporting tools within Guidra or by contacting us through the details published on our website.
We appreciate responsible reports that help protect the Guidra community.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time as Guidra develops, new features are introduced or legal requirements change.
The latest version will always be available through Guidra and on our website.
Continued use of Guidra after an updated policy takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
