Our Professional Services
Guidra exists to help people grow.
Alongside our software platform, we may offer professional services including coaching, consulting, mentoring, workshops, programmes, courses, retreats, events and other transformational experiences.
These Professional Services Terms apply whenever you purchase or participate in one of those services.
They form part of your agreement with Guidra alongside the Guidra Terms & Conditions.
1. Scope
These Terms apply to professional services provided by Guidra.
These may include:
- coaching;
- consulting;
- mentoring;
- workshops;
- courses;
- programmes;
- masterminds;
- circles;
- retreats;
- events;
- leadership experiences;
- corporate services; and
- similar services we introduce in the future.
Some services may also have additional information specific to that service.
2. Nature of Professional Services
Professional services are intended to support learning, reflection, accountability, leadership and personal development.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, they are educational and developmental in nature.
They are not legal, medical, psychiatric, psychological, therapeutic, financial, tax or investment services.
3. Your Responsibility
Guidra, our facilitators and our coaches support your thinking.
They do not make decisions for you.
You remain responsible for:
- your decisions;
- your actions;
- your relationships;
- your business;
- your finances;
- your investments;
- your health; and
- your results.
Participation in a programme does not guarantee any particular outcome.
4. Independent Coaches
Some services may be delivered by independent professionals using the Guidra platform.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- they are independent professionals;
- they are responsible for the services they personally provide;
- Guidra is responsible for operating the platform and administering the programme where applicable.
5. Coach Standards
Guidra expects coaches and facilitators to act professionally and honestly.
In particular they must:
- accurately represent their qualifications;
- accurately represent their experience;
- act with integrity;
- avoid misleading or deceptive claims;
- avoid guaranteeing outcomes;
- comply with the Guidra Community Standards.
Guidra may suspend or permanently remove coaches who fail to meet these standards.
Where appropriate, we may also provide refunds or other remedies to affected participants.
6. Participant Responsibilities
Participants are expected to:
- attend prepared;
- participate respectfully;
- complete agreed work where appropriate;
- treat coaches and other participants respectfully;
- comply with the Community Standards.
Meaningful progress requires active participation.
7. Communication
Professional services do not include unlimited access to coaches or facilitators unless expressly stated otherwise.
Unless a service description says differently:
- communication is limited to what is reasonably necessary to support the service;
- response times are not guaranteed;
- coaches are not expected to provide 24-hour support;
- coaches may establish reasonable communication boundaries.
8. Attendance
Participants are responsible for attending sessions, workshops, calls and events at the agreed time.
Late arrival, failure to attend or technical issues on your side may reduce or prevent your participation.
Missed sessions are not normally repeated unless the relevant service expressly provides otherwise.
9. Programmes, Retreats and Events
Programme schedules, locations, speakers, facilitators and activities may occasionally change where reasonably necessary.
Where changes are required, Guidra will make reasonable efforts to deliver an equivalent experience.
Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel, accommodation, insurance, passports, visas and any other personal arrangements unless expressly included within the service.
For events, retreats, workshops, podcasts, interviews, media appearances or similar experiences, Guidra may ask to capture or use photography, video, audio, testimonials or other media for publicity, education or marketing.
We will seek your permission where appropriate. If an event is being photographed or recorded, we will aim to make this clear, for example through event information, signage or direct communication. You have the right to tell us that you do not want to feature in publicity or marketing materials.
10. Payments
Payment terms are described in the Guidra Terms & Conditions.
Where payment is made by instalments, the instalment arrangement is a payment convenience only.
Once a contract has been formed, you remain responsible for paying the full agreed purchase price.
11. Cancellation and Refunds
The cancellation and refund terms for a professional service will normally be explained before purchase or included in the agreement for that service.
Unless the relevant service terms state otherwise:
- cancellation rights may depend on how far in advance you cancel;
- deposits may be non-refundable where they reflect costs, commitments or work already undertaken;
- work already completed is not normally refundable;
- sessions cancelled at short notice may be treated as used;
- failure to attend or participate does not automatically create a right to a refund; and
- your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Where reasonably possible, we may agree to reschedule a session, transfer your place, provide account credit, defer participation or offer another appropriate solution.
This cannot always be guaranteed, particularly where Guidra has already incurred costs or reserved resources on your behalf.
12. Community Access
Some professional services include access to Guidra communities, discussion spaces or communication channels.
Access depends upon the service you have purchased and may also depend upon maintaining any subscription or eligibility requirements described for that service.
Where a service includes temporary community access, that access begins and ends in accordance with the relevant service description.
13. Health and Wellbeing
Professional services are not medical or mental health treatment.
If you have concerns regarding your physical health or mental health, you should seek advice from an appropriately qualified doctor, physician or licensed healthcare professional.
Professional services are not suitable for emergency situations.
14. Removal from Services
Guidra may suspend or remove participants from programmes, retreats, communities or events where they materially breach:
- the Guidra Terms & Conditions;
- these Professional Services Terms;
- the Community Standards; or
- applicable law.
Removal from a service does not automatically create a right to a refund.
15. Changes to Professional Services
Guidra may reasonably change:
- schedules;
- venues;
- facilitators;
- coaches;
- technology platforms;
- delivery methods;
- programme content;
where necessary to deliver the service.
Where changes are significant, we will make reasonable efforts to notify participants in advance.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Professional Services Terms from time to time.
The latest version will always be available through Guidra and on our website.
Continued participation in Guidra Professional Services after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
